Frequently Asked Questions
When will the program be published?
The complete concert and dance program is usually published at the beginning of January, approximately six weeks before the ball.
Times and styles will largely be similar to previous years' programs.
Who is behind the program?
The dance program and dance music are prepared by our dance master Eilif Noraker.
The program for the opening concert and the intimate concerts in Logen is put together by our artist managers Vera Talerko and Cesar Canon.
Where can I find the rooms in the schedule?
The Main Hall is the largest hall, where the ball opens with a polonaise.
The small halls are located on the first floor, and the names of the rooms are clearly marked above the doorframes.
The program will also be posted at the entrance to each room.
Where can I find the program under the ball?
The program will be available:
- on the website during the ball
- as posters in various sizes around Gamle Logen
It will be easy to keep track of times throughout the event.
However, we recommend planning a little in advance, as several activities take place simultaneously and you will need to prioritize.
Do I have to be able to dance?
No, you do not need to know how to dance to participate in the dance program.
A short introduction will be provided before each dance.
Nevertheless, we recommend preparing in advance, either by watching instructional videos or attending our dance classes.
