HANNAH EDMUNDS
Hannah Edmunds is a 24-year-old lyric soprano born and raised in Oslo. She recently completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Stavanger under the guidance of Professor Elizabeth Norberg-Schultz and was also one of the interns at Opera Rogaland.
Despite her young age, Hannah has already performed numerous concerts in Norway and Italy. In 2021, she made her debut at Sandnes kulturhus as Nella in Opera Rogaland's production of Puccini's opera, Gianni Schicchi, and reprised this role in Palermo, Sicily, during Opera Rogaland's tour in the summer of 2022. Hannah also served as the understudy for the role of Mïcaela in Opera Rogaland's production of Carmen in 2022 and worked as a director's assistant to Einar Bjørge in the same production.
In May 2023, she took on the title role in Puccini's opera Suor Angelica in Stavanger. Hannah began her master's studies at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts in August and has participated in various concerts in Oslo, including performances for Opera to the People and a balcony concert at the Norwegian Opera and Ballet. She continues to develop her talent and enthusiasm for the beautiful world of opera.
